Downloading & Installing RecFind Service Packs (Version 4 onwards)
IMPORTANT: Please read release notes before you download any service pack.
Downloading a Service Pack
The Service Pack you wish to download consist of a self-expanding executable file.
Before you Download, please read the following instructions. You may wish to print this document prior to completing the Installation.
Instructions
- Download the Service Pack
- Locate the service pack you want to download and click "Download Now".
- Your web browser will ask you how to handle the file it downloads.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify a temporary directory
(eg, c:\rectemp).
- Enter the file name (eg, RF400C.exe). This name may already show as the default name for the file to be saved.
- Select OK.
- Expanding the Compressed File
The RecFind for Windows Service Pack is a self-expanding executable. To
install the service pack, from Windows Explorer or via My Computer,
locate the directory where the service pack was downloaded to (eg, c:\rectemp). Double click on the file you downloaded (eg,
RF400C.exe).
- Installing the RecFind Service Pack Software
- Follow the screen prompts to complete installation.
- Read any release notes before starting RecFind.
